Taner Biography
Taner (Yazici) was born in the municipality of Gemlik / Bursa in 9th Feb. of 1973. He started music with the guitar lessons during his junior high years. A little later, he established a band called “Group Platonic”. After graduating from high school, he attended to Marmara University, Fine Arts Faculty – Cinema-TV Department. He did not give up music career during his university years and he worked at the bars and clubs occasionally and professionally.
The artist has gained experience in Istanbul at winters and at the south in summers with the bands which he had established called “Arka Bahçe(Back Yard) , Cümbür Cemaat (All together) meanwhile , he was making academic career with his master’s degree. Later on, he endured his music life with his solo album. At the age of twenty-one , he fully got his economic independency.
In 1996, he had a deal with S Muzik for his first solo album. After approximately two years of repertory and studio works, he finished his first album called “Affetmedim Kendimi (I neither did nor forgive myself)” in 1998. And the album took its location at the music markets.
The album was prepared with the core staff of Garo Mafyan, Zeynep Talu Kursuncu and Seda Akay. Garo Mafyan took the responsibility of music directory, arrangement , song writing and the lyrics were written by Zeynep Talu and Seda Akay. With those three important and special artists’ contribution, Taner vocalized ten songs with his emotional and fogged voice.
The “Affetmedim Kendimi” song which was written by Zerynep Talu was Taner’s hit song. The video clip was directed by Hakan Yonat and in this video clip beautiful model Tuba Yonat co-operated with Taner.
Taner characterized a young boy who made an irreversible mistake to his girlfriend and he showed the efforts for being forgiven as well as self-critics for himself at the “Affetmedim Kendimi” video clip. After a long while, his second video clip was filmed for his dashing song “Bana Varacaksın”. This song’ lyrics were also written by Zeynep Talu and the video clip was directed by Hakan Kursun who is generally known as advertisement director. This video clip was full of beautiful views and scenes and this led the album’s success into a long period.
The other songs in the album were ; “Kaderci” , “Gönlümün Sultanı” , “Ayni Perde” , “Can Kiz” , He de be Gülüm” , “Bir defa Öleyim” and “Oyun Oynama”.
Taner’s second album “Aşk Mazi Oldu” consists very special ten more songs.
Taner worked with Fikret Kızılok , Metin Özülkü , Ali Güven , Zeynep Talu for his second album. He filmed his first video clip for the song of “Yardim Et” (lyrics written by Zeynep Talu , music by a Greek artist).
Niran Ünsal contributed to this album with her vocals & featuring and Tuba Ünsal contributed at the video clip.
The songs which took place at the second album were ;”Aşk Mazi Oldu” , “Bu Kalp” , “Bu Kalp Seni Unutur Mu?” , Hayal Dünyası” , “İyi Yüreklim” , “Kabahat Hangimizde” , “Kazanamasın” , “Gece Yarısında” , “Sen Kazandın Gönlüm” , “Yardım Et”.
With his attractive appearance and sympathetic character, he won everyone’s love. And he endures his art career withy his concerts and tours.
His third album is about to take place at the music markets.
